Today is Monday. I think it’s safe to say there are a lot (okay, a ton) of people who dread Monday mornings. When bedtime comes Sunday evening, they dread setting their alarm clock, they dread closing their eyes, and they dread having to roll over in a few hours to turn just to turn that alarm off again. “Oh, that clock! Old killjoy. I hear you!”
Today is Monday. Today I challenge you to have a good Monday. If a challenge doesn’t convince you, then I triple dog dare you to have an amazing Monday- and oh yes, I so just went there. Today do something that makes you feel amazing- treat yourself to your favorite frappuccino at Starbucks, wear your favorite color to work, dance around your kitchen in your jammies, or better yet, look at yourself in the mirror, put on your biggest smile, and say, “Today is Monday. Today I am amazing.”
Today is Monday. Don’t dread today. Look at today as an adventure, the next big step, the glass in half full, choose happy, and just think positive. Then when next Monday comes around… make it even better than the last.
