The Office!

So… I just kind of realized I completely forgot to make a pretty big announcement…. Like, it’s something I should have announced a month ago… I’m slight embarrassed that I forgot to do this post… Well, here it goes…

GUESS WHAT?! I HAVE AN OFFICE!

Yup, yup! You read that right! Karen Schlink Photography officially has an office located at 300 State Street in New London, Connecticut! It is still so strange for me to say that, yet alone type it!

The office is officially named Show & Tell (you learn all about Show & Tell and see what we’re all about here). I am sharing the space with my best friend Anna Westbrook- you should check out her website and buy a copy of her amazing children’s book for every kid you know (for real). We’ve been doing a ton of painting this past month and we are soooo close to being done! All that’s left to do is move in my desk and chair, setup the internet, and decorate it to make it it our own!

I honestly can’t describe how excited I am to finally have a place to do all my work at, a place to call “my office”. I still find myself just sitting on the floor where my desk will go saying “Wow… This is MY office!”

Once we are all squared away I will post more shots of the finished product! But for now here are just a few photos of the painting process. Feel free to sing “The Office” theme song as you do so.
