I love, love, love Kristina and Jeff. I have met both of them a few times at past weddings, so when Kristina emailed me about photographing their wedding in August I was SO excited! We met at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport a few weeks ago for their engagement session. It was a bit windy, but we definitely got some great shots of Kristina with windblown hair!
Kristina and Jeff are one of those couples that when you look at them, you can see in their eyes how excited and happy they are to be getting married! Seriously, I dare you to spend five minute with them without feeling a thousand times happier than you were before.
Only three more months till their wedding! Until then you’ll just have to look their gorgeous engagement session.![]()

She was born at 7:47pm last night. 6lbs 13 oz. 18 inches long. A perfectly round head, cute chubby cheeks, the best nose in the world, a head full of hair, little coo’s, and tiny little lips. She is perfect.
Plus, I think it’s safe to say that Grace is a very happy and very proud big sister.
Introducing Olivia Marie.

I’ve been staring at my computer screen for two hours trying to figure out what to write. I want these words to be perfect, to be meaningful, to change a life, to bring joy, to be uplifting, to change these past two and a half weeks, to make things better, to bring him back, to make you laugh, to make us sing, to heal our hearts, to give us an answer, to show us the reason, to make everything better… instead I’ve just been staring aimlessly. No matter what I say, or type, things will still be the same. So instead, I’m just going to repeat what my Dad said at the vigil two Sundays ago… “Stay close, stick together.”
How fickle my heart and how woozy my eyes
I struggle to find any truth in your lies
And now my heart stumbles on things I don’t know
My weakness I feel I must finally show
Awake my soul,
Awake my soul.

Two weeks ago I posted Chelsey’s maternity session… Eleven days and an IV of pitocin later, Trevin Elijah finally decided it was time to join all of us- on Friday the 13th no less! Chelsey did say she wanted a Friday the 13th baby.![]()
I went to visit mommy, daddy, and baby in the hospital Sunday afternoon, naturally with camera in hand… and he is perfect. Absolutely perfect. I have never seen such a happy, round, smiley, sleepy baby! I even got to hold Trevin for a good half an hour because as Chelsey said she “gets to hold him for the rest of my life”. The best part about my visit was just seeing Chelsey and Jay’s glow. If you thought Chelsey was glowing during her maternity session, then she must’ve turned into a STAR since having Trevin! All she could do is smile and say, “Isn’t he perfect? Isn’t he so cute?” Trevin is perfect. Trevin is cute. And he has the best mommy and daddy in the whole world.
Better get use to the camera now, bud, between mommy and myself… you’re going to have TONS of photos of taken of you!![]()
